my life is not constricted by external circumstances
my life is the experience of formulated thinking
my life is not determined by peripheral conditions
my life is the phenomenon of manifested feeling
if i’m afraid and distrustful of all around me
confirmation bias will prove that right
if i believe that this world is hateful and bitter
the evidence will point in that direction
so i will choose my thoughts carefully
if i adjust the meaning i apply to the crisis
shift the perspective of the glass that’s projected
my future’s just based from my motive’s reflection
flowers will bloom from the root of my intentions
